Levels
General: For ages 10+, no experience necessary.
Advanced: For people with at least two years dance experience.


Friday 13 May
5-6.30pm Popin' Pete Advanced Level
After 3 sellout workshops last year, Popin’ Pete (Electric Boogaloos) returns to teach us how to pop.
Please note: The class is being filmed by the BBC as part of the upcoming programme; Bruce Goes Dancing featuring Bruce Forsyth.




Saturday 14 May
11.30am-12.30pm Dance Flava General Level
Stuntman from Style Elements (USA) teaches this high energy choreographed class.


Power Moves Advanced Level
UK B Boy Champions 2004 Project Soul (KOR) teach advanced break dance moves which involve a lot of upper arm strength and flexibility. A class for experienced breakers who want to develop their power moves.


12.45-2.15pm Popping with Popin' Pete General Level
Popin' Pete, of the Electric Boogaloos (USA) teaches a class for aspiring Poppers. Created in the early 70s by Boogaloo Sam, popping involves the flexing of your muscles and the snap of your legs to the beat of the music.


Rubic Cube General Level
Crumbs from Style Elements (USA) teaches a general level class with routines and some advanced moves


2.30-4pm Popping with Popin' Taco Advanced Level
Popin' Taco (USA) - from Breakdance the Movie - teaches this advanced popping class. Created in the early 70s by Boogaloo Sam, popping involves the flexing of your muscles and the snap of your legs to the beat of the music.


Wacking and Punking General Level
Anna Lollipop Sanchez (USA) - from Breakdance the Movie - teaches this one-off class in Wacking and Punking. A pre-cursor to vogue, these dance styles are well established in America and can be seen in music videos by Mya, Will Smith and Black Eye'd Peas.




Sunday 15 May

New Style General Level
David Imbert from Frank II Louise (FRA) teaches a general level New Style class fusing different Hip Hop dance styles.


12-2pm DJ Skills Taster workshop
DJ Pogo from the En4cers (UK) leads this taster workshop introducing basic skills, a history of Hip Hop, exhibitions and a Q&A session.


1-2.30pm Advanced Footwork Advanced Level
Frankie Flave from Style Elements (USA) teaches an advanced class focused on footwork and routines.


3-4.30pm Foundation Moves Advanced Level
UK B Boy Champions 2004 Project Soul (KOR) teach advanced level breakin' class.


Lockin' General Level
Gemini from Showtime (FRA) teaches a general level Lockin' class. Lockin' was invented in the 1970s by Don Campbell and was originally called the Campbell Lock. Lockin' short pauses or locks combined with steps, points and claps with a strong sense of humour.
