Appel is a trio based on live communication between two dancers and a musician playing the Bansuri (flute) and Tabla.
This work portrays the instinctive elements of dance relating to the spontaneity of the music delivery, with concepts inspired from B Boying, Capoeira and contemporary dance.
Company Decalage was founded in 2004 by Mickael "Marso" Riviere to create and tour high quality, original and intercultural dance theatre.
The Company has a unique style, blending various movement languages. Hip hop dance styles influence the Company including Popping, Waving and B Boying as well as capoeria, and contemporary dance with a hint of physical theatre.
