Unity (UK)

Unity Dance Company was originally formed in 2005. The birth of the 'company' happened in 2008, when Unity Youth was formed. Aged from 12-26, Unity have won many competitions, and showcased at some of the biggest dance shows inside and outside of the country including Breakin' Convention 2007-2011, Collabo, Serious About Street Dance, Lezart Urbain 2011 (Belgium), Karavel Festival 2011 (France) and many more.

They train and work hard in many different hip hop styles and continue to entertain and inspire crowds both young and old. They have also recently stepped into the hip hop theatre genre of dance with their first piece called Venus vs Mars, a dance piece which un earthed the difficult subject of domestic violence.

Unity will continue to create, educate and innovate all those around them and will always strive to represent the UK as best as they possibly can.
