Have you got what it takes to be part of Criw Cymru?

 

You can be part of something big; creating a crew of excellent young hip hop theatre artists, trained by the best to be the best - charged with going out and putting Welsh hip hop theatre on the map.

 

Coleg Criw Cymru is a week long residential course for you to tighten up your hip hop skills and create a brand new piece of hip hop theatre to perform live to hundreds of people.

through out an intensive week of activity you will get the chance to work with the best tutors in rapping, graffiti art and hip hop dance; as well as other professional artists, who can give you a different take on what it is to be a perform. As well as this, you will be part of a tight group of like-minded people around you own age, developing your skills and your understanding of hip hop together. There is not audition process but we do want you to tell us how much you want to be a part of this.

 

Who is it for?

Young people aged 11-18years from across Wales.

 

When is it?

23-29 October 2010. If you are accepted you will need to arrive between 4-5pm on 23 October for registration. The course runs over the following 6 days from 10am-5pm (plus evening activities if you stay over).

 

How much does it cost?

£100 per person, payable if you get a place on the course. There is also a 25% discount if more than one person in your family is taking part.

 

What will you get from it

  • The opportunity to rehearse and perform as professionals in October in the Weston Studio at Wales Millennium Centre

  • A ticket to see Breakin’ Convention on 23 October in the Donald Gordon Theatre at Wales Millennium Centre
  • A ticket to see a professional performance in the Weston Studio on 29 October 2010/
