The event is called Breakin' It Off. It is a street dance performance battle, with a talent show of singers, poets and comedians to start off with.The reason we are holding this event, is to inspire young people to do something positive in the community. We all have talent and it is always been said to express your talent into good use. This is the chance for young people to express their talent.The Breakdown:Once the dance crews pass the audition stage, Street Breakers will send them music to make a routine to for, for 1 minute per track.There are 2 rounds per battle and 1 minute per round. 1 performance act from the crew if they get through to the semi finals and 1 freestyle session for all crews including the audience.

The crew that wins the final battle will win a BIG cash prize and to be crowned as the best street dance crew battlers.

Auditions are held at the Ferndale Community Sports Centre, Nursery road, Brixton, SW9 8PB. Times and dates will be given once we receive details from the dance crews or any of the other acts conforming they are willing to audition. Auditions are running now until the 1st week of March, but we advise to audition early as dance crews will need to practice for the music giving if passed.
