Artist Forum Seminars
October 2009 – March 2010

aDvANCE is a dance enterprise scheme for artists designed to boost your career and develop your skills and experience. We are offering:

• One-to-Ones - information, advice and guidance sessions for individuals
• Artist Forum – regular seminars looking at managing yourself as an artist
• CollaboLab – choreographic development lab for choreographers and their dancers (6 – 12 January 2010)
• Dance Works – voluntary placements for emerging dance entrepreneurs

As a development of the East London Dance Artist Forum we are offering monthly business seminars up until March 2010. The Artist Forum sessions are free to attend and open to artists at any stage of their career that are living and/or working in East London. You must sign up for at least two sessions.

Leadership Skills and Getting the Best out of People

At some point in your career you will have to take the lead… whether it is choreographing, teaching or producing an event. Identify and understand your leadership style and how to get the most out of the people you work with.
