Melting pot of dance culture
Uchenna Dance presents Cultural Explosion a night that celebrates the creativity of dance theatre artists, exploring the use of club and social dances, wrapped in a contemporary dance arena.
Cultural Explosion will feature work from Joseph Yvan Toonga (Blueprint Bursary winner 2011) of Just US Dance Theatre, Shelley Maxwell of Maxwell Dance Project, Akosua Boayke with a piece choreographed for Uchenna II, Birdgang Dance Company, Ricardo Da Silva and Botis Seva (Juste Debout UK finalists 2011) featuring spoken word artist Rudeen 'Ankheru' February and Vicki Igbokwe, Creative Director of Uchenna Dance.
