Krump: Krump originated in South Central Los Angeles in the early 2000s. It is a constantly evolving dance movement which creates a non-violent alternative to street violence and frustration.  Krumping is used to release feelings like anger in a positive way.

The movement is highly energetic and is characterized by free, expressive and exaggerated gestures involving the arms, head, legs, chest, and feet.  Foundational moves include stomps, arm waves and chest pops.
