About the project
The Pioneers provides intensive professional development courses for Hip Hop dancers and teachers in the UK. Launched in 2007 The Pioneers focuses on development and refining the foundations of the three Hip Hop and Funk Styles dance techniques Locking, Popping and B Boying.
In 2007/08 the Artists were Ken Swift (Breaking), Suga Pop (Locking) and Popin' Pete (Popping).
The Pioneers is back for 2009/10 with Mr Wiggles, Tony GoGo and Ken Swift. Read on for more info. NEW for the second series of Pioneers is that Breakin' Convention is touring The Pioneers. Check out the full programme and the closest UK city to you.
